This Participant Guide has been built in an interactive PDF format, designed to be viewed through a digital tablet. The materials have been designed to keep a consistent feel, with set fonts and color schemes, to reflect those of the company.

The proposed delivery format was selected to allow the learner to interact with the materials, through clickable web links and videos, in effort to maintain the attention of the learners throughout the training. If the instructor discusses content that is not included within the Participant Guide, the learners can also add comments onto the guide, to be preserved for future review.

To further enhance the experience of the learner, seven videos included in this training have been included. These videos, that are less than a minute long, display scenarios linked to effective communication and conflict management and are set in an office environment. This design choice was made as the learners would be able to relate to the scenarios and the short duration of each video would maintain the attention of the learners.

 

The seven videos have been interspersed throughout the training to prevent the learner from feeling that the choice of media has been overused.
